For years our house had issues with the outgoing water system, we had to ration showers and laundry in the hopes we didn’t overfill the system. We had several people out to look at it, running cameras and pulling pumps and still the problem was never resolved. We contacted John’s Excavating to diagnose the problem, which they did while coordinating their work with an engineer. While it’s difficult to hear the news that you have to replace your leach field, the prospects of finally having the problem solved was both good and necessary.
John Ferrell came over and explained the issues to us, coordinated a plan to address those issues, and made us comfortable with the process all along the way. Once the project began, it was determined that the tank itself didn’t need to be replaced and John discussed the updated process with us and removed the tank replacement cost from his billing, even though he had a new tank sitting in our backyard, he had purchased to replace the old one if needed. Integrity and honesty go a long way in this world and this small gesture spoke to both of those. Now that the project is completed ahead of time and on budget, we’re very happy with the results and would recommend John’s Excavating to any homeowner that needed excavation, waterproofing or septic tank/leach field work completed.
